Let me start by saying if you haven't had the opportunity to read "15 Invaluable Laws of Growth" by John C. Maxwell, then you should carve out some time in you ultra busy schedule and chip away at it.
This is the epitome of self development attacking areas of your personal and professional life. This book would be great for anybody that loves to read, finding them self in a rut, or those who want to grow and develop (which I'm sure is most of us!)
I received this book as a gift and look forward to gifting many copies in the future. I wish that I would have come across the book sooner as I think there are many valuable lessons. It is the kind of book that you can read multiple times in your life and gain a new piece of wisdom each and every time. It is suggested that the reader read a chapter, and actively participate in the exercises, and continue building on the exercises for a week or so before moving on to the next chapter. Personally, I did take a mental note on the exercises, but am just starting to dive back in for a second time to actively read. The first time through was amazing and life changing so I can only imagine how the experience will change when I take the additional time to really write down all of the exercises.
To give you an overview of the book, some of the topics include, "The Law of Intentionality: Growth Doesn't Just Happen", "The Law of Awareness: You Must Know Yourself to Grow Yourself", The Law of Consistency: Motivation Gets You Going-Discipline Keeps you Growing". These are among a few of the topics addressed in the book. If any of these hit home for you then this would be a fantastic book to read! Know somebody that could use a lesson on the list above? Books make a great gift, and this is a valuable option.
-Happy Reading
